Peau d’Espagne Spanish Leather Perfume from Odore Mio

Odore Mio, a London based exclusive perfume house released recently one of their new fragrances from luxury leathers collection.  This one is called Spanish Leather and is probably one of the sweetest, most exquisite leathers we have come across. Leather aspect of this delicious fragrance is very mild, more of a background than a prominent keynote. All other notes are so wonderfully reminiscent of luxury, sunny Spain and warm spices. We love it.  This fragrance is available directly from Odore Mio and selected retailers.

Classical Chillout: Erik Satie Gymnopedie No 1

GB5CN1506001Atmospheric piece written by Erik Satie who is regarded as one of the founding fathers of modern ambient music – gentle yet somewhat eccentric pieces which, defy the classical tradition. Performed by Anton Kingsbury.

Erik Satie was a French composer and pianist. Satie was a colourful figure in the early 20th century Parisian avant-garde. His work was a precursor to later artistic movements such as minimalism, repetitive music, and the Theatre of the Absurd. An eccentric, Satie was introduced as a gymnopedist in 1887, shortly before writing his most famous compositions, the Gymnopédies. Later, he also referred to himself as a phonometrician (someone who measures sounds) preferring this designation to that of a musician.

Three-dimensional printing, also known as additive layer manufacturing, was first developed in the 1980s but has been slow to move out of engineering to other industries. The technology works by building up layer upon layer of material – typically plastic – to construct complex solid objects.
